26 April 1966, I arrived at the city of Kema, on the NE tip of the island of Celebes, Indonesia. There was quite a crowd, but things changed for the worst, quite soon. We were put under house arrest for two days, but we finally talked our was clear. |
These were some of our guards at Kema, they seemed friendly, but found out later they stole stuff off the boat. Front row right is Elvis. |
11 May 1966, Arrived at Sunnana on the Island of Sunnana, Indonesia. Had a plesent stay there. Above is the Chief Justices' house where I stayed one night. There was a nice freshwater stream in back where I had a nice bath and did some laundry. Also had a good meal. |
